On March 20, 2022, in a video called Being Not Straight, Jaiden said that she is aromantic and asexual (or aro-ace). Jaiden says that she finds it hard to like people romantically, and she does not consider herself "fully gay" or "fully straight". She dropped out of college in 2016 to pursue her YouTube career.Īlthough Jaiden has been on dates in multiple occasions in the past, most of her dating life is currently being kept private. Not much is known about Jaiden's school years, but she briefly went to the University of Arizona. Her favorite is tennis, which she played in high school. Jaiden played various sports growing up, including gymnastics. Jaiden later moved to Los Angeles, California in 2018. Her family would always visit Canada or South Lake Tahoe in California because she said that "her family doesn't like to live in a volcano". Jaiden is not a particularly tall person, being around 5'' 6'5 (or 168 cm).
Jaiden also said that she has an undercut since 2018 because she had too much hair and she was bored with her hair. Her hair also commonly falls out "like snakes all over the place". She currently has brown hair and the hair is thick. One of these dyed hairs made her look like iHasCupquake, her favorite YouTuber during high school. During high school and college, she dyed her hair, starting with 2 red streaks (similar to Boyinaband except with 1 red streak), and then fading colors at the end of the hair. Older videos shown in Jaiden's videos show her hair being long and straight in childhood. Jaiden never revealed her face officially until April 6, 2017. In a later comment by Rebecca, Jaiden said that she was fine with her face being shown on her 2016 VidCon video. In the VidCon 2016 video from Rebecca Parham (also known as Let Me Explain Studios), she showed a picture with herself and Jaiden. However, later on, Jaiden let them upload the original video. She was mortified and forced herself to explain why she didn't want people to see her. However, during the convention, her face was leaked by an undisclosed person. During VidCon 2016, Jaiden also said she took pictures with people, but she wished she didn't. Jaiden initially did not reveal her face because she didn't want people to have an opinion on her based on her looks. In her announcement videos, Jaiden is depicted as a "gremlin", being completely colorless, except having a purple outline. Jaiden has dot eyes and multiple ear piercings, Her outfit doesn’t have any color (though she wears lavender, as depicted in her profile). The channel has mostly consisted of videogame animations since 2020. In November 2019, she started to make videogame animations, starting with her first Nuzlocke video. She was an individual YouTuber, but later on in 2018, she built up a team of animators working for her, so she can chill out. Jaiden later uploaded longer story-time animations, in a tight schedule of 2 weeks. The channel initially started out with short animations and speed art (though most speed art videos were likely later set to private), as well as piano videos. Jaiden first created her channel on February 16, 2014. The channel noticed her artwork, and she was offered to do an animation in the channel, and so, she started to make animations on iHasCupquake's channels. She also said in her video that after reading up what aroace was, it helped her feel confident and sure about herself contrary to some who felt lost or broken when they discovered the same.Her career started when Jaiden sent a fanart to iHasCupquake, who Jaiden watched and liked at the time. Jaiden acknowledges that she can tell when one looks conventionally attractive, but she is never drawn to such people.
